Inspections
Cottesmore has been praised highly in its last three inspections.
In the ISI (Independent Schools Inspectorate) report there were an unprecedented seventeen counts of 'outstanding'.
Academic
The academic curriculum encompasses a variety of elements, ensuring the experience for pupils is both broad and balanced. "Quisque pro ingenio" is Cottesmore's unofficial motto: "Everyone has a talent". .
Our academic system enables staff to work on a more bespoke basis which can allow children to move quickly through the school to join the scholarship stream. Our scholarship record is excellent – with children achieving top Academic, Music and Art awards. A great breadth of subjects are offered throughout the school which includes Maths, English, Science, Languages, History, Geography, Classics, Theology, Philosophy, Religion, ICT, AI, Coding, Art, Music and Design Technology.
